For more than 35 years, Pierpont has managed corporate reputation for clients by implementing a variety of time-tested strategies and tactics. This can include media relations, where we work to proactively generate positive press coverage for our clients. We also consult on our clients’ online presence, including social media and their website, to ensure that they are accurately and positively represented online. In addition, we work to build relationships with key stakeholders, such as employees, investors, and customers, to strengthen our clients’ reputations. 


Pierpont begins by conducting research and analysis to understand the current state of a client’s reputation. We use this information to identify any challenges or opportunities related to the client’s reputation.

Next, we work with the client to develop clear goals and objectives for managing their reputation. These goals might include increasing the visibility of the client’s brand, positioning the business as an industry leader, or steering the discourse around a specific topic or issue.

Working closely with our clients, Pierpont’s corporate reputation experts will guide all relevant leaders, communicators, writers, and spokespeople to effectively execute our agreed-upon strategy and tactics. Key to our discovery phase are research tools, such as reviewing media coverage, analyzing social media mentions, evaluating website content, reviewing existing marketing material, and conducting interviews with key stakeholders.

Based on the discovery process and built around the established goals and objectives, Pierpont develops a detailed strategy for managing our clients’ reputations. This may include tactics such as media training for spokespeople and executives, public relations, social media management, and employee engagement, as well as a plan for crisis management if needed. We also identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the reputation management efforts.
