As chief operating officer, Clint leverages more than 20 years of industry experience to ensure future growth for Pierpont Communications. In order to drive new business and deliver successful service expansions, Clint is responsible for client and employee development, setting firm-wide strategy and overseeing many functions across the agency, such as strategic partnerships, P&L growth and M&A activities.
In addition to leading Pierpont’s energy practice, Clint has worked with clients across a broad spectrum of industries including automotive, retail, enterprise hardware and software, professional services, business intelligence and collaboration tools, financial services and manufacturing. He has led or supported engagements with globally respected brands such as BP, Boston Consulting Group, Group 1 Automotive, Halliburton, Imperial Sugar, TPG Capital, and Wood Group, among many others. Utilizing his skills in crisis and issues management, brand reputation management, integrated marketing, media relations, public relations and executive thought leadership, Clint has supported the transformation of Pierpont and growth of the agency to four offices across Texas and one in New Jersey. His teams have won multiple awards from industry associations including AMA, IABC, PRSA and TPRA, as well as PRWeek’s National Non-Profit Campaign of the Year.
Clint sits on the board of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business and communications from The University of Texas at Austin and attended the Rice Jones Graduate School of Business’ Executive Education Program.
