Pierpont Wins Big at IABC Southern Region Silver Quill Awards!

Pierpont Communications is proud to announce that it has been honored with an Award of Excellence and two Awards of Merit at the Silver Quill Awards Competition at the Southern Region Conference of the International Association of Business Communicators in Charleston, South Carolina this week. 

Silver Quills recognize excellence in communications throughout a 14-state region and Pierpont was recognized for three entries in the “media relations” category. 

Pierpont was recognized for the following three entries in the “media relations” category:
Pulte Homes: Phase I
Pulte Group approached Pierpont Communications for assistance in unveiling a series of new developments in Austin, Pflugerville and Leander. In a short three-month time span, Pierpont secured more than 30 media placements, including front page features on the most popular media outlets in the greater Central Texas area. 

Amplifying a Season of Caring
Amplify Credit Union approached Pierpont Communications in the fall of 2011 to develop a proactive communications campaign that would significantly increase exposure for the Union as well as its philanthropic efforts. Pierpont strategically partnered Amplify with the Austin American-Statesman’s Season for Caring, which resulted in more than 28 media placements, including front page features full of inspiring stories of Amplify’s volunteer work, heart-warming quotes of the grateful families and sentimental photos of each philanthropic effort.
