Pierpont’s tenure with the Austin Chamber of Commerce extends as long as our time in Austin – more than 17 years. Our partnership with the Austin Chamber has helped us stay connected to the Central Texas business community as well as the needs of our city.
As a proponent of the many initiatives that the Chamber leads, such as economic development, affordability and education, Pierpont’s Executive Vice President Stacy Armijo has volunteered with the organization for several years in many capacities. Over the last three years, Stacy volunteered with the Member Relations Council, helping the Chamber refine its messaging and engagement strategy for members and begin its journey toward Digital Transformation.
Receiving the 2017 Volunteer of the Year Award
To thank Stacy for her hard work and commitment to the city, the Chamber honored Stacy during its recent Annual Meeting with a “2017 Volunteer of the Year” award.
The Chamber defines these award winners as those who “support the Chamber both with their time and talents by significantly engaging to take on the biggest challenges facing businesses and our local communities throughout the Austin region.” Stacy was nominated for this award by Member Relations Council Vice Chair Paul Trylko, who is CEO of Amplify Credit Union.
Launching the Next Phase of Growth for the Chamber
In 2018, Stacy is chairing the Chamber’s new Growth Strategy Council which is responsible for fueling the Chamber’s future growth through revenue insight and partner engagement. As part of that role, she is also a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Chamber.
Pierpont is thankful for the work that the Austin Chamber does to move Central Texas forward every day and we congratulate Stacy on this honor.
