Pierpont Celebrates Five Year Partnership with Cristo Rey

Over the past five years, eight students from Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory of Houston have had the opportunity to connect with and learn from the Pierpont team through the school’s corporate work-study program.

These students, who are typically from communities with limited educational options, experience a bustling corporate environment while preparing for their life post-graduation. With two to three high school students working in the office each week, there is no shortage of interaction among students and employees, and students often choose to return to Pierpont for multiple years. Additionally, the first Cristo Rey student to have completed their work-study program in high school with Pierpont went on to complete their college degree and graduated earlier this year.

Pierpont’s commitment to education is an embodiment of our entrepreneurial spirit. We are equally passionate about knowledge sharing and continuous learning, and value the educational opportunities available to students in our community. Our continuing partnership with Cristo Rey epitomizes this commitment to education through a student program unique to the school.
