Pierpont recently announced the promotions of two senior leaders in Texas. Christine Rashman has been named Vice President and General Manager of Pierpont’s Austin office, and Sylvester Palacios has been promoted to Vice President. Rashman will oversee client strategy, business development and operations for the Austin office, while Palacios will continue expanding Pierpont’s client base and market presence in San Antonio.

As General Manager, Rashman will oversee the agency’s Austin-based strategy, operations and continued business development efforts, strengthening Pierpont’s impact across Central Texas. She joined Pierpont in 2018 and has since established herself as a driven, creative and tenacious leader. With deep expertise in media relations and integrated communications, she has a proven record of securing high-value coverage, leading complex initiatives and delivering measurable results for clients across the U.S.
Celebrating 15 years with the firm, Palacios has been instrumental in expanding Pierpont’s footprint in San Antonio. A proven media relations strategist, he has led numerous high-profile campaigns and consistently delivers meaningful impact for clients in multiple industry sectors. Palacios currently serves as President of the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) San Antonio Chapter, deepening industry relationships and elevating Pierpont’s presence in the region. In his new role as Vice President, Palacios will continue growing Pierpont’s San Antonio operation while supporting major client engagements.
