At Pierpont, we believe in showing up for the communities around us, and not just through our work, but through action. That’s exactly what happened with Kids’ Meals, Inc., when our partnership extended beyond PR strategy and into real impact: a $50,000 donation, a team of volunteers, and hundreds of lunch bags.

Pierpont volunteers making lunches at Kids Meals

Kids’ Meals is the only nonprofit in the nation delivering free, healthy meals directly to the doorsteps of food-insecure preschool-aged children, ensuring that children too young for school-based meal programs don’t go hungry. Since its founding in 2006, the Houston-based nonprofit has delivered millions of meals to children across Greater Houston, pairing nutrition with hope in the form of lunches.

Our support didn’t start on volunteer day. In the days leading up to it, Pierpont team members decorated lunch bags that would soon carry meals to children’s doorsteps. Then, more than a dozen employees rolled up their sleeves on-site, assembling sandwiches for local families—meals that, for many children, may be their only nutritious option that day.

During the visit, Pierpont leadership also presented the $50,000 donation to Kids’ Meals CEO Beth Harp, reinforcing our continued support for the organization and its mission to end childhood hunger in Houston.

“Supporting organizations like Kids’ Meals reflects who we are at Pierpont,” said founder and CEO Phil Morabito. “We believe service, compassion, and community engagement aren’t separate from our work—they’re essential to it.”

As a Houston-headquartered firm, we’re proud to support organizations making a measurable impact in the communities where we live and work. Kids’ Meals does just that—delivering not only food, but critical resources that help families move forward.
