CHALLENGES
As the world’s largest energy industry gathering, ADIPEC Exhibition & Conference convenes global policymakers, energy leaders, and technology innovators to shape the future of this global business sector. Hosted by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the conference sought to strengthen its visibility and relevance among U.S. audiences, particularly Tier-1 business outlets and key energy trade media. ADIPEC needed a partner with deep U.S. media relationships, strong energy-sector expertise, and the ability to localize its global mission to resonate with U.S. editorial priorities.
OBJECTIVES
Working alongside global agency partner Kekst CNC, ADIPEC engaged Pierpont to deliver a high impact U.S. media strategy that would:
- Translate the conference’s global themes into narratives that aligned with U.S. market concerns.
- Position ADIPEC as a premier platform for thought leadership, innovation, and policy dialogue.
- Strengthen brand attribution
- Support U.S.-based leaders attending the conference through earned media opportunities.
SOLUTION
Pierpont served as the U.S.–based media engine for ADIPEC, working in close collaboration with Kekst CNC to translate the conference’s global priorities into messaging that resonated with U.S. audiences. The team developed localized narratives that aligned ADIPEC’s themes with American concerns around energy security, innovation, and the future of global energy leadership. Pierpont researched, crafted, and placed op-eds in top-tier and trade outlets, identified strong editorial angles, and pitched U.S. executives attending the conference for earned media opportunities.
In addition, the team built and expanded U.S. reporter relationships for future moderating and speaking roles, while identifying relevant podcasts and thought-leadership platforms to broaden ADIPEC’s reach.
RESULTS
Pierpont secured major U.S. media wins for ADIPEC, successfully elevating the event’s presence among highly influential audiences. Coverage included: Fortune, Data Center Dynamics, POWER Magazine, and Offshore Magazine.
