Kandi America, an international electric recreational vehicles, electric equipment and other innovative products company, engaged Pierpont for their entrance to the U.S. market and to drive consumer interest in the launch of the company’s K27 and K23 electric vehicle models.
Pierpont’s objective was to develop Kandi’s overall product and US market messaging and create a brand awareness plan that identified all consumer touchpoints, including valuable media sources and third party influencers.
Pierpont spearheaded a virtual product event called “Kandi Auto EVolution for All Giveaway” with corresponding digital and social media campaigns. During a four-week period leading up to the launch event, the team built an outreach plan including robust media relations, corporate communications and influencer marketing partnerships to generate promotional coverage.
The outreach Pierpont conducted earned 1.2 billion media impressions, and the launch event garnered nearly 12,000 attendees. Over 1 million influencer impressions resulted in 436 pre-orders of Kandi’s vehicles and a successful introduction of the most affordable EV to U.S. consumers. In addition, we supported the company’s effort to establish its distribution and dealership network to deliver their vehicles to consumers directly.
