Houston, Texas (July 8, 2014) – Pierpont Communications, one of the largest independent communications firms in the Southwest, announced today the addition of two vice presidents in Dallas and Austin and the growth of the firm’s digital practice with the hire of a digital brand strategist.

Michelle Bleiberg joins Pierpont with 25 years of both agency and corporate experience and will focus on client leadership and strategic counsel across all offices. Based in the company’s Dallas office, Bleiberg is a project leader skilled in executing multi-disciplinary global programs and national and state public education campaigns and most recently worked at Burson-Marsteller.
Additionally, Mike Gehrig was recently promoted to vice president in the company’s Austin office, where he will support, drive and guide the efforts of his clients while also aiming to grow the firm’s experience in areas such as cleantech/renewable energy as well as those ancillary industries around it which are very abundant in Austin. With more than a decade of experience, Gehrig has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
Pierpont’s digital practice group expands following the addition of Michael Miller, a digital brand strategist based in the firm’s Austin office. Michael brings nearly a decade of digital strategy and execution experience to Pierpont’s clients and will help them drive engagement and capture more value in the digital space through strategic integrated communications initiatives.
