Launching a Sustainability Campaign Through Strategic Public Relations & Digital Content Generation
LafargeHolcim, a global leader in building materials and sustainable solutions, sought to educate the community about its growing commitment to sustainability and its investment in alternative fuels and pollution-control technologies, especially in Texas.
LafargeHolcim engaged Pierpont to assist their corporate and local leadership teams as they delivered key messages to the general public and media. Pierpont was also tasked with promoting LafargeHolcim’s growing portfolio of sustainable building materials, solutions, and standards that help to address some of the planet’s most significant environmental issues, and educating the public on the company’s integration of renewable energy and alternative fuels.
Pierpont developed materials to support local and regional operations and demonstrate the company’s commitment to sustainability. Pierpont also developed single-issue microsites for various plants to present information about local community outreach and support, sustainability initiatives, and community-led events and meetings.
Following the success of the initial engagement, LafargeHolcim has expanded its relationship with Pierpont to deliver the company’s corporate narrative and support select plants operating in North America.
