Scott has more than 30 years of agency, government, and corporate communications experience.
His client work includes media relations, thought leadership, reputation management, crisis and issues management, social media and corporate communications. Scott has served clients in industry sectors that include professional services, banking/finance, technology, healthcare, senior living, oil & gas/energy, and real estate (residential, commercial, and land development).
Prior to joining Pierpont’s Dallas office, Scott served in a variety of account service roles at an integrated marketing services agency for more than 16 years. Previously, he was a public information officer for the city of Dallas for 10 years and, beforehand, held communications positions with two large retail companies.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree, with a public relations focus, from the University of Texas at Austin.
