Allison provides senior counsel to clients and oversees the strategic communications plans that support their business objectives. She has guided organizations through media relations challenges, message development, public affairs campaigns and crises. A strong believer in analytics, Allison’s strategic guidance is informed by data to help clients make more informed and strategic decisions. In her role, Allison also supports new business development, attracting top-tier organizations to the firm.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Pierpont, Allison was vice president at Edelman in Dallas, where she led strategic communications for the commercial and innovation divisions of one of the region’s largest clients, Bridgestone. Additionally, she was the region’s crisis communications lead and oversaw numerous high-profile crisis engagements. Prior to her time at Edelman, she was an inaugural member of the team at Kith, a crisis communication and reputation firm in Austin, where she was responsible for agency operations and providing strategic counsel to clients including American Express, Cargill, Northwell Health and College Board. Additionally, Allison was a lead facilitator for countless crisis simulations, helping corporate teams large and small prepare for a wide range of crises and issues. Prior to Kith, Allison spent seven years at FleishmanHillard in the Austin and Washington D.C. offices. At FleishmanHillard, Allison was the corporate communications lead for one of the firm’s largest clients.

In addition to her position at Pierpont, Allison is involved with the Junior League of Austin. As a member, Allison volunteers to help make Austin a better community. One of her favorite programs is FIT, Food in Tummies, where Junior League volunteers promote nutritional education and student success. Allison received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University.
