A. Pierre Dubois
Pierre most recently served as Manager of Investor Relations for Tesoro Corporation [NYSE Ticker: TSO], a Fortune 150 company, where he represented the company to both domestic and foreign investors and analysts and was responsible for all financial communications. His efforts at TSO helped improve company valuation, enhance management credibility, increase sell-side analyst coverage, and expand the investor base both in the US and abroad. Prior to Tesoro, Pierre was Credit Manager for the New York based, Securities Valuation Office of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners [NAIC] where he was responsible for a portfolio of companies including the retail, chemical, and propane MLP industries. While in New York he also served as vice president of emerging markets debt for investment bank Bear Stearns & Company where he covered energy and general industrial companies located in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. Before joining Bear Stearns & Company, he was Associate Director of High Yield Research For ING Group (formerly Furman Selz LLC), with responsibility of the small and mid cap energy and industrials sector. His detailed analysis resulted in numerous research successes generating significant profits for both the firm and clients. In addition, his team originated and placed the first emerging market private placement transaction for the firm. Prior to ING, he worked in the energy and corporate lending groups and the fixed income research department at Royal Bank of Scotland (formerly National Westminster Bank, PLC). During his tenure with the bank and capital markets group, he helped oversee multi-billion dollar asset portfolios and build the securities research effort at the firm. Pierre earned his bachelor's degree in finance from The University of Texas at Austin, is fluent in Spanish speaks basic French and has traveled extensively. He is a member of CFA Institute, CFA Houston and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
