The team was recognized for its work to develop a year-long public relations and media relations campaign to build brand awareness and position OliverMcMillan’s River Oaks District at the forefront of the public’s mind as the premier shopping, living and entertainment experience in Houston.
Leading up to River Oaks District’s grand opening, the team worked to create a steady cadence of in-depth media stories, designed to reach both lifestyle and business audiences. The team secured and facilitated one-on-one media tours with tier-one outlets, including the Houston Chronicle, Houston Business Journal, PaperCity magazine, CultureMap and local broadcast media. The team also secured interviews with both Spanish and Chinese media outlets as well, targeting Houston’s diverse population.
Team members Nancy Sims, Victoria Turek Cook and Krystal Hewitt Patout worked seamlessly with the local, on-the-ground marketing team for River Oaks District, in addition to the executive team based at OliverMcMillan’s San Diego headquarters.
