The holidays are for giving thanks and giving back. At Pierpont, we like to blend the two by partnering with organizations that Pierponters hold near and dear to their hearts. This year, Pierpont Dallas proudly served as an in-kind sponsor carrying out public relations and media relations efforts for the DFW Jingle Mingle, a unique holiday party benefiting the DREAM Fund. The event raised more than $10,000 for the organization, which helps people in the communications industry facing truly unimaginable situations.

Since its inception in 1991, the DREAM Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has directed hundreds of thousands of dollars to people in the advertising, marketing, public relations and media industries in the Southeast who have experienced unexpected difficulties and life-changing events. For more than two decades, hundreds of touching stories have stemmed from the DREAM Fund, including the story of a woman battling cancer who was helped with healthcare expenses and airline tickets to ensure her daughter was able to visit her during her time of need. This second-annual event looked to help recreate more success stories like these.
At the event, the festivities included live music sponsored by Digital People, caricatures sponsored by Freeman Leonard and a step-and-repeat photo station sponsored by CultureMap Dallas. Complete coverage on the event can be found in the Dallas Morning News and in CultureMap Dallas.
