Join Texas’ largest independent communications agency in America’s fastest-growing metropolitan area. We’re looking for an experienced communications professional who can independently manage accounts for clients in diverse verticals. As a versatile team player, you will also mentor junior staff and support new business efforts.
Reporting to the Senior VP and General Manager, you will integrate within account teams to support multiple clients by developing and executing integrated communications programs—which may include strategic planning, traditional media relations, press material development, marketing and social media activities, industry and company research and reporting.
This position is ideal for a skilled communications professional who loves new challenges and isn’t afraid to push the envelope to generate meaningful results for our clients in the corporate (B2B) and consumer (B2C) spaces.
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, communications, journalism or related field. Must have at least four years of relevant work experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising/marketing, journalism, management consulting, media and publishing.
Must have excellent writing, verbal, editing and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate capability in delegating assignments, prioritizing, leading others and receiving cooperation from other departments/offices.
Proven ability to manage large projects (including budgets) and small teams simultaneously, function as a daily client contact, as well as develop and execute plans to meet client goals. Demonstrated ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Familiarity and established contacts/relationships with DFW media. Spanish language proficiency desirable.
