Susan Gramatges

Susan Gramatges, chief operating officer,  has more than 25 years of corporate and agency experience and has been with Pierpont since 1992.  Coming on the heels of a successful banking career in the international division of a major Houston bank, Susan currently uses her managerial and financial skills to lead Pierpont’s daily operations as Chief Operating Officer.

Susan’s primary areas of focus at Pierpont include managing account assignments and cultivating Pierpont staff through training and team building.  Among the many awards Susan has garnered, she was most proud when Pierpont was named Houston’s Best Place to Work (10 – 100 employees) in 2005 by the Houston Business Journal.

Outside Pierpont, Susan has served the Houston community in many roles.  She is a former Divisional Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Galleria Area Chamber of Commerce.  In 1998, she was awarded the James E. Crowther Volunteer Excellence Award, the Chamber's highest honor for outstanding service.  She is an active member of the Greater Houston Partnership and has served on both the “Marketing Houston” and Public Relations committees.

Susan is also our world traveler and has lived in Mexico, Spain and Austria.  She is fluent in Spanish and German and is a cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and minor in political science.
