Pierpont Wins Two Silver Spurs in TPRA’s Best of Texas Awards Competition

We are proud to announce that Pierpont won two major awards in the Texas Public Relations Association’s Best of Texas Awards Competition. The news was received by Pierpont from the TPRA on January 27.
A Silver Spur was awarded to Pierpont’s Austin office for the
Know Your Rights blog for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Hosted on
www.Statesman.com, this blog features readers’ legal questions answered by attorneys board-certified in relevant areas of legal specialty in Texas.
The second Silver Spur was awarded to the Alpha Troop team in the Media Relations category for its entry titled “A Generation of Forgotten Vietnam Veterans: Campaign for Recognition.” The award is for the unique and successful approach the A Troop team took to gain immense media recognition for the 11th Armored Cavalry Veterans of Vietnam & Cambodia, who ultimately were recognized by President Obama at the White House.
