Terry Hemeyer quoted in UT Alumni magazine

Terry Hemeyer, Executive Counsel at Pierpont Communications, was recently quoted in Ideas@Work, the University of Texas at Austin College of Communication Alumni Magazine. The article discusses a unique upper-level Public Relations class at UT that Hemeyer teaches. The course, entitled Public Relations Strategies, uses real life examples and situations to help students learn how to succeed and prevent mistakes in public relations.

In the article, Hemeyer blames rushed decision making for many PR mistakes. “If you can, avoid that at all costs,” he is quoted as saying. “I find if I can think about something overnight and sleep on it, I come up with a different answer the next day.”
