Pierpont Communication’s
award-winning work for the 11
th Armored Calvary Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia was recognized in the May 2010 issue of
PRWeek, a national magazine published for the public relations industry. The veterans, who had fought a valiant, anonymous battle during the Vietnam War, had recently received a presidential award for their actions – 40 years after the battle. Pierpont leveraged a national campaign to garner staggering media attention and bring overdue recognition to not only the soldiers of the mission, but to all Vietnam veterans, and ultimately helped to secure a White House Rose Garden recognition ceremony, officiated by President Obama himself.
Pierpont was recognized yet again in
PRWeek’s May issue – ranking in at #68 of all independent public relations firms in the United States. This ranking, up from #72 in 2009, signifies Pierpont’s continued growth and is an attribute of Pierpont’s
loyal clients, employees and business partners.
