Understanding why it’s important to leverage social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter is just as important as understanding how to manage them. Brian Block will explain how other businesses within your industry are using social networks to engage their community and generate leads, as well as where opportunities are being missed.
Brian has worked in a number of areas of the company including marketing, social media, public relations and civic engagement for clients such as Holocaust Museum Houston, the Houston Zoo, the Museum and Theater Districts, Waste Management, Verizon Wireless, Capital One and Pierpont itself. Brian speaks regularly on social media strategies and tactics to classes and organizations, and is considered Pierpont’s “Social Media Enthusiast.” He also serves as the Social Media Chair for the Houston Interactive Marketing Association and Committee Member for the Houston Area Women’s Center’s Marketing and Development Committee.
