Each year, Austin basketball fans are treated to the fast-breaking, above-the-rim action that is Toros basketball. But the Austin Toros aren't just the NBA stars of tomorrow. This San Antonio Spurs' Development League basketball team generates as much action behind the scenes as on the court.
Join us at Pierpont's next Tasteful PR Series as Peter Lubell, COO of the Austin Toros, shares how the team builds long-term community relationships through programs like Healthy Hoopsters, Heros Among Us and the Toros' youth clinics. Peter will also provide an insider's look at the 2009 - 2010 season.
Peter's presentation will be followed by a tasting of several fine wines as well as delicious hor d'oeurves.
About the Speaker
Peter Lubell has more than 13 years of diverse sports marketing and sales management experience. As COO of the Austin Toros he oversees the team’s business operations including the team’s sales and marketing activities. Prior to joining the Toros, Peter was vice president of strategic alliances for Raceway Media. He currently serves as a national advisor for the National Sports Marketing Network.
